Whatsapp testing dismiss as admin feature in group chats

Whatsapp Group is testing a new button in chat, through which an admin will be able to ‘demote’ or ‘demise’ another admin. That is, it will be possible to do this without deleting them from the group and they will not even need to be included in the group again as common group members. Whatsapp is testing this feature on Android (beta v 2.18.12) and iOS app.
Right now, when an admin wants to remove his partner, he has to first delete that user from the group and then need to add it again to be included in the group.
According to WABetaInfo, one fan first saw the new Whatsapp feature. The new option is available in the Group Info section. You can access the Group Info section by clicking on the three dot shown on the right side in a group chat. In Group Info, you will see an option to deduct an admin from the group as an administrator.
The report further stated, “Whatsapp is currently working on this feature for iOS and it will soon be available to all users. Let’s say that the Whatsapp Android app’s latest Beta app 2.18.12 is a new feature already available by default. ”
