Apple report prepares a Commen app framework between iOS and MacOS

Years 2017, Microsoft has pushed its Universal Windows Platform in an effort to make it easier for developers. To reach the breadth of its ecosystem with the same software. Now, it seems that Apple is planning a similar program covering both iOS and MacOS.
Currently, Both apps must be developed for iOS and macOS, and, with a smaller install base, the Mac App Store is not as robust as that of the iPhone . But the new project, reportedly code-named “Marzipan” internally, would allow for designing and developing apps that could be used with either a touchscreen or a mouse (or trackpad) and published to both platforms.

A Unified Experience

Apple has come under a bit of criticism for the partially disjointed experience between the Mac and the iPhone. Despite features such as Continuity that unify communication and conversation between the iPhone, iPad and the Mac, what users find troublesome is the inability to use apps across all Apple device.

Meet Project Marzipan

Bloomberg’s  Mark Gurman in a report speaks about Project Marzipan that aims to solve these precise concerns that Apple’s users have. More so, it could also solve a great deal of developer agony . After all Building the same app once for iOS and then once again for macOS seems like a lot of work and effort.
Bloomberg’s  Mark Gurman report, Project Marzipan is the secret project that “is planned as a multi-year effort that will start rolling out as early as next year . May be announced at the company’s annual developers conference in the summer.” The report also quotes anonymous sources who say that these plans are still in early days, and could either change course or be cancelled altogether.
